Grovy Health Inc. is a Delaware corporation. We build software for tracking and understanding hair health over time. Hairy, available at this domain, is our first product.
Hair changes gradually, which makes it very hard to judge from memory or from a mirror. Most people trying to work out whether something is helping have nothing to go on but impressions, and impressions are unreliable over the timescales involved.
Hairy exists to replace that with a record. Standardized photos, taken the same way each time, held in one place and viewable across months. On top of the record we add measurement — metrics describing hair quality, recession, graying, and scalp condition — and habit tracking, so what you do can be compared against what you see.
This category is full of products that lead with a frightening number and charge to make it go away. We are not building that. Hairy is designed to be calm, private, and honest about the limits of what a photograph can tell you. It reports observations. It does not diagnose, and it does not attempt to alarm anyone about their own appearance.
Your journal belongs to you. You can delete your account and everything stored with it from inside the app at any time, and deletion is real rather than a flag on a record.
Hairy is in private beta on TestFlight for iPhone. An App Store release is in progress. Android and a web companion are possibilities for later, but neither is being built today.
